MyHue is one address that holds your links, your music, your background and whatever else makes a page feel like yours. The pitch is narrow and easy to check: the things other platforms treat as premium are free here, on the free tier, permanently.
What the free tier includes#
Unlimited links, image, GIF and video backgrounds, a music player with a visualizer, cursor and particle effects, custom fonts, custom CSS, live presence widgets, the full theme marketplace and 30 days of analytics.
No trial, no card, no countdown. The site sets the same feature rows against guns.lol, vaults.lol, ysn.lol, uhu.lol and Linktree, taken from each platform's own published pricing.
Why it can afford to be free#
Bandwidth is the reason video backgrounds are normally paywalled. MyHue serves media from Cloudflare R2, which charges nothing for egress, so sending a video background costs the same as sending nothing at all. That single fact is what the whole model rests on.
The rest of the stack sits inside free allowances as well: Workers for hosting, D1 for the database, Analytics Engine for events, and the domain itself bought at cost through Cloudflare Registrar for 5.30 dollars a year.
There is no growth stage rug pull scheduled for later, because there is no bill waiting to arrive.
What actually costs money#
Badges and storage, rather than anything to do with how a page looks. All three paid tiers are a single payment rather than a recurring one, and none of them are open yet.
- Hue+, 4.29 pounds once: verified badge, 1 GB uploads, analytics kept forever, footer branding removed, 3 username aliases
- Gold, 12.90 pounds once: everything in Hue+, an animated gold checkmark, a gold username glow, a premium username claim, API access with webhooks, early access to new features and 10 aliases
- Founder, 25.81 pounds once: everything in Gold, a permanent founder badge, a credit on the site, roadmap voting and a profile number between 1 and 100
Founder is capped at the first 100 accounts and never offered again.
